Flashback Friday!! “Celebrate Wenonah” - hard to believe it’s been six years! We held several events in honour of our anniversary season, including a Gala Evening at the Burlington Convention Centre. What do you remember from our “Celebrate” season?

We are delighted to welcome five distinguished alumni back to Camp in 2012 as Assistant Directors. Each will have broad areas of responsibility during the Summer Camp season at Wenonah plus will be onsite during the Spring 2012 Outdoor Education Centre season.

Flashback Friday for a wintery day! Hard to believe this photo is four years old… lots of familiar faces from the Basswood cabin (the year that the girls and boys switched cabin lines). Recognize anyone?

Flashback Friday!!  Today is the deadline for our returning staff to submit applications for next season, and that makes us think of all the terrific staff teams we’ve been fortunate to have over the years.  Here is a photo of our 1999 staff team, towards the end of Summer PreCamp.  Do you recognize anyone? Flashback Friday!  Some of our August campers may remember a few years ago when we switched cabin lines (remember that “Girls on the Boys line” plaque hanging in the Lodge?)  Here’s a photo of some current campers back when they were “Balsam girls”.  Do you remember the year we switched cabin lines? 

Congratulations to our friends at Camp Jumoke for another successful season.  On Saturday, November 12 supporters of Jumoke came together for their annual Beverly Mascoll Scholarship Dinner & Dance at the Capitol Banquet Hall in Mississauga. 

Wenonah was represented at the event by 2011 Summer Camp staff members Mieke Barette, Janette Downie, and Kevin Smith and alumni staff Jeff Brewer.
